This Fall, we are studying the book, “You are a Theologian: An Invitation to know and Love God Well” written by Jen Wilkin & J.T. English.
At the “Rooted” Bible study, women of all ages gather to study the Bible, pray, encourage, and help each other grow. We have different small groups that meet different days and different times. If you would like to learn more about how to be connect with a group, sign up below to be contacted.
Monthly Circles
Circles have long been a vital part of FPC’s women’s ministry. Circles meet monthly on the second week of the month and are a time to gather in homes or at the church to fellowship, pray, read the word, and discuss the upcoming activities of the church. Circles take turns hosting family lunches after church and occasionally help organize other events. If you are a member of FPC, you will be assigned a circle. If you are a visitor, we would love for you to join a circle. Just send us an email to let us know at womensministry@firstpresclarksdale.com.

This group was started by two local moms who found hope and encouragement just by talking with other special needs moms. Our hope for creating this support group, Held, is to help bring support, love, and encouragement through studying scripture and sharing stories to as many special needs moms in our community that need this. Being a special needs parent comes with unique and often isolating challenges. There is also the added difficulty of finding a place to socialize and feel accepted. We hope to meet this need by creating a safe place for you to share your struggles and victories with others who understand this journey, and for your children to make new friends. Our meetings are held monthly and are open to the entire Clarksdale Community. Please join our local Facebook Group for the latest on our meet-ups.
